trainwreckFrom Elvis (Presley) to Elvis (Costello), from ABBA to ZAPPA, TRAINWRECK aims to delight and surprise with every song they play. A guaranteed ‘wrecking’ good time!

Fronted by Dora and Gemini Award-winning actor Rick Miller, TRAINWRECK features a talented ensemble of East Toronto musicians who play pretty much anything to shake the house down. For three years, they have played the New Year’s Eve party at their favourite local pub, The Linsmore, plus many gigs at festivals, fundraisers and events across the GTA and in Montreal.

TRAINWRECK features Pete Gray on keys, Don Macdonald and Tait Sala on bass, Mark Franco on drums, and Robin Vaughan on guitar & sax, plus THE WRECKETTES: Karen Dalton (vocals & sax), Stephanie Baptist (vocals & glockenspiel), and Victoria Wickett (trumpet). TRAINWRECK specializes in up-tempo rock covers.

Can you donate baked goods to the Bake Sale?  If yes, please bring your items by 9:00 am on the morning of April 13 to Room 3. Someone will be there to receive all donations.

Please be mindful that baked goods should not contain nuts or nut products and please mark if items are non-halal*.

*Note: Halal food items should not contain gelatin or lard. Lecithin should be of vegetarian variety, such as soya lecithin.  Both butter and margarine are Halal.

We’ll talk about our Memorandum Of Understanding, banking, police checks and fund raising.

We are all still meeting each other and planning. But fund raising is coming soon!

We’re going to talk about how to do this, and how to get the word to parents who don’t know about our group yet.
